Powertrack Insert changes the tune of the hydraulic system to increase the power delivered to the Haldex clutch instantly. The result is an instant response of the rear traction with a power distribution of 50/50.

Please ensure you check which insert your Haldex is fitted with. There are two of them:

1. Push-in on a CirClip (please see our other listings).

2. 17 mm HEX head (this listing).

Mounting method

Installation is very easy and it takes as low as 1h. You only need to remove the Haldex controller, remove the old insert and install the new one. 

Circlip insert: remove the controller form the main unit, remove the circlip, pry the old insert up (some force needed because of the o-ring that is holding tightly the insert), push in a new sport insert and secure it with a circlip. Now install the controller and enjoy better rear traction. 

17 mm HEX insert: remove the controller form the main unit, unscrew the old insert up, screw in a new sport insert. Now install the controller and enjoy better rear traction. 

We do recommend to use a new gasket between the controller and the Haldex unit (VAG 02D 525 589) when changing the Insert.
