Plate fits between the EGR cooler and the exhaust extension tube that runs down to the exhaust manifold (shown in the photos), which is held in place by 4 bolts at the rear of the engine. The Exhaust end needs the retaining bolt removed, that bolts the engine to allow the part to move, or the plate will not fit in.

Plate only fits the EGR system as shown in the pictures. Will not fit welded type of the exhaust gas cooler.

The EGR valve must be mapped out from the Nissan engines because it can put it into limp mode.
